What is Reggaeton?
Reggaeton is a very hot Latin music and dance style, expressing a lot of passion which is typical for the Caribbean islands' way of life. It can also be classified as a mix of Reggae, Jamaican dance, American hip-hop and Bachata.
Reggaeton became a very famous dance style in Puerto Rico, and it expanded quickly to the discos and clubs in the United States and Europe.
It is an ideal dance style for parties, socializing and hot summer nights! Sometimes its movements are a replica of the famous film "Dirty Dancing", but featuring more of the Caribbean style. The songs' lyrics are mostly in Spanish and the Reggaeton songs made in Cuba, tell about politics and the country´s society.
