BOOKING CONDITIONS
All prices given on this page http://www.sprachcaffe-kuba.com/english and all subpages are not valid for permanent residents in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
1. BOOKING:
Fill in the application form and mail or fax to our head office, address given on this page.
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 10% of the total amount (+ the visa registration fee of 50 Euro if necessary).
Once we have received your application and payment we will send you a confirmation of your booking, the invoice and the visa documentation (if requested).
The welcome pack with extra information, vouchers and the address of your accommodation will be sent after the outstanding balance has been paid in full.
The invoice must be paid in full, 4 weeks before your departure.
2. TERM OF PAYMENT:
• By cheque: make cheques payable to the address given on this page.
• By bank transfer: the relevant account number will be on the invoice. Please send us a
copy of the transfer order. You must pay all bank charges!
• By credit card: Along with the booking form please send your authorization with all
details (name of the credit card company, card N°, expiry date and relevant signature).
If you choose this form of payment we charge 2% of the total amount for expenses.
3. SERVICES:
All services described in the brochure as well as information given in the confirmation/
invoice are binding to the extent of the services considered in the contract.
3.1 CHANGES TO SERVICES:
Other agreements which change the range of services offered in the contract must be done in a written form.
Changes and alliterations in the indicated content of the travel contract which are necessary after the contract has been signed and which arise neither from disloyalty nor disbelief of SPRACHCAFFE, do not lead to a considerable change of the travel service
and do not affect the entire character of the booked journey. SPRACHCAFFE is responsible for informing their clients about all changes and alliterations in services.
3.2 LACK OF SERVICE:
Objections regarding the services indicated in the contract are to be reported so that a prompt solution can be found. Should the individual fail to report such a shortfall and should SPRACHCAFFE get no opportunity to remedy this problem, no reductions or refunds will be given.
4. CANCELLATION:
4.1 SPRACHCAFFE
SPRACHCAFFE has the right to cancel a tour if the minimum amount of passengers stared in the programme cannot be reached.
a) Sprachcaffe is obliged to inform the passenger immediately if a certain tour will not take place.
b) The cancellation has to be made at least 3 weeks before the departure date.
c) All fees will be refunded immediately.
4.2 PASSENGER
Cancellation: you may cancel your booking at any time prior to the commencement of your holiday.
However, you will be charged cancellation fees:
- cancellation up to 30 days before holiday commencement: 30% of total price
- cancellation between 22 and 29 days before commencement: 40% of total price
- cancellation between 15 and 21 days before commencement: 50% of total price
- cancellation between 7 and 14 days before commencement: 60% of total price
Thereafter 70% of the total fee is required. In case of a cancellation on the day of the made reservation or no show the price cannot be refunded.
If you prefer, you can take out insurance against the cancellation fee, which is 2% of the total amount. This amount must be paid with the deposit.
The registration fee for the visa documents is not refundable under any circumstances. In the unlikely event of our being forced to cancel, all fees will be refunded.
5. CHANGING THE BOOKING:
Up to 31 days before the date of departure we will try our best to consider all your wishes and changes with respect to dates, accommodation, etc. Should you decide, after signing the travel contract with us to take a different course or tour, to the one in the contract
or should some other suitable person take it instead of you, we unfortunately, have to charge you 50 Euro for any changes made.
6. INSURANCE:
Neither agent, operator or the schools will be held responsible in any way for any accident, illness, loss of personal effects or change in personal circumstances
arising at any time prior to or during the course. We therefore strongly recommend you to take our personal travel insurance.
7. INEFFECTIVENESS OF A TRAVEL CONDITION:
Should one of the existing travel conditions be ineffective or inadmissible, it has no influence on the existence of the other travel conditions.
