Our Salsa Team
The head-master of our salsa team is a former Prima Ballerina Nery Caridad Machin Medina. Nery finished her studies in ballet in 1974 at the Escuela Nacional de Arte, and continued working for many years for the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. During this period of time she worked closely with famous people such as Gladys González, Alberto Mendez and Alicia Alonso, and participated in numerous national and international events and workshops.
During her time as a ballet dancer, dance teacher and head-mistress, she produced different shows and coreographies working together with famous coreographer Santiago Alfonso in different countries, such as Cuba and Spain.
Nery captivates not only by her professional training, but also by her style and natural charm. The dance team at our academy is selected carefully so that you can join our dance classes being an absolute beginner or an experienced dancer!
